✧ Deeds are six, and people are four: two that make [entry into Paradise or the Fire] obligatory, one like for like, a good deed with ten times its like, and a good deed with seven hundred. As for the two that make obligatory: whoever dies not associating anything with Allah enters Paradise, and whoever dies associating anything with Allah enters the Fire. As for like for like: whoever intends a good deed until his heart feels it and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, knows that from him, a good deed is recorded for him; and whoever does an evil deed, an evil deed is recorded against him. And whoever does a good deed, ten times its like are recorded for him. And whoever spends an expenditure in the way of Allah, it is a good deed with seven hundred. And people are four: one given ample provision in this world but straitened in the Hereafter, one given ample provision in the Hereafter but straitened in this world, one given ample provision in this world and the Hereafter, and one straitened in this world and the Hereafter.
