✧ Hasin bin Mohsin protects his aunt

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ الْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ مِحْصَنٍ

أَنَّ عَمَّةً لَهُ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي حَاجَةٍ، فَفَرَغَتْ مِنْ حَاجَتِهَا، فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: أَذَاتُ زَوْجٍ أَنْتِ ؟ قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ. قَالَ: كَيْفَ أَنْتِ لَهُ ؟ قَالَتْ: مَا آلُوهُ إِلَّا مَا عَجَزْتُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: فَانْظُرِي أَيْنَ أَنْتِ مِنْهُ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ جَنَّتُكِ وَنَارُكِ

Translation

✧ That a maternal aunt of his came to the Prophet ﷺ for a need, and when she finished her need, the Prophet ﷺ said to her: Do you have a husband? She said: Yes. He said: How are you toward him? She said: I do not fail in anything except what I am unable to do. He said: Look to how you are with him, for he is your Paradise and your Hell.
