حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ غُلَامٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ قُبَاءَ أَنَّهُ أَدْرَكَهُ شَيْخًا قَالَ
جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقُبَاءَ، فَجَلَسَ فِي فِنَاءِ الْأُجُمِ، وَاجْتَمَعَ إِلَيْهِ نَاسٌ فَاسْتَسْقَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَسُقِيَ فَشَرِبَ، وَأَنَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ، فَنَاوَلَنِي فَشَرِبْتُ، وَحَفِظْتُ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلَاهُ لَمْ يَنْزِعْهُمَا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us at Quba and sat in the courtyard of the fortress. People gathered around him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked for water. He was given water and drank, and I was on his right and I was the youngest of the people. He handed it to me and I drank. I remember that he prayed with us that day wearing his sandals and did not remove them.
