✧ He saw the Prophet ﷺ raise his hands when he entered the prayer and said the takbir—Hammam described it as level with his ears—then he wrapped himself in his garment, then placed his right hand over his left. When he wanted to bow, he took his hands out of the garment, then raised them and said the takbir and bowed. When he said, “Allah hears the one who praises Him,” he raised his hands. When he prostrated, he prostrated between his palms.

machine translationThere is no inconsistency (iḍṭirāb) in it; rather it is the preponderant report, in reply to the Ḥanafīs.
in مسند أحمد, p. 19102 - al-Bukhari
machine translationKnow that there is another defect (ʿillah) in the hadith, which al-Tirmidhī mentioned in his al-ʿIlal al-Kabīr, saying: I asked Muḥammad b. Ismāʿīl whether ʿAlqamah heard from his father, and he said: He was born six months after his father's death.
