✧ My father, Juhayfah.

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَكَمُ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ:

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ، قَالَ: فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَتَمَسَّحُونَ بِفَضْلِ وَضُوئِهِ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out at midday. He said: He performed ablution, and the people began to wipe themselves with the leftover water of his ablution. Then he prayed the noon prayer as two rak'ahs, with a short spear in front of him.
