حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يُوسُفَ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ خُصَيْفٍ عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ، فَقَرَأَ سُورَةً طَوِيلَةً، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَرَأَ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَرَأَ وَرَكَعَ، ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ

✧ The sun eclipsed, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood with his companions. He recited a long surah, then bowed, then raised his head and recited, then bowed and prostrated twice, then stood and recited and bowed, then prostrated twice: four rak'as and four prostrations in two rak'as.
