حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ
لَقِيتُ خَالِي وَمَعَهُ الرَّايَةُ فَقُلْتُ: أَيْنَ تُرِيدُ ؟ قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ أَنْ أَضْرِبَ عُنُقَهُ - أَوْ أَقْتُلَهُ - وَآخُذَ مَالَهُ.

I met my uncle who was carrying a standard. I asked him: Where are you going? He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sent me to a man who has married his father's wife. He has ordered me to cut off his head and take his property. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4457)
