✧ The first of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to come to us were Mus'ab b. 'Umayr and Ibn Umm Maktum. He said: They taught the people the Qur'an. Then 'Ammar, Bilal, and Sa'd came. He said: Then 'Umar b. al-Khattab came with twenty. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came. [He said:] I never saw the people of Madinah rejoice over anything as much as they rejoiced over him, until I saw the slave girls and children saying: 'This is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he has come.' He said: He had not arrived before I had recited 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High' among the surahs of the Mufassal.
