✧ Abu Bakr came seeking permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ and heard Aisha raising her voice at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So he gave him permission, and he entered and said: “O daughter of Umm Ruman!” and he reached for her, “Will you raise your voice at the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?!” He said: The Prophet ﷺ came between him and her. He said: When Abu Bakr went out, the Prophet ﷺ began saying to her, appeasing her: “Do you not see that I came between the man and you?” He said: Then Abu Bakr came and sought permission to enter upon him, and found him laughing with her. He said: So he gave him permission, and he entered. Abu Bakr said to him: “O Messenger of Allah, include me in your peace as you included me in your war.”
