✧ al-Nu'man bin Bashir on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِعَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِـ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ، وَإِنْ وَافَقَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَرَأَهُمَا جَمِيعًا

Translation

The Prophet ﷺ recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Aala) and "Has there come to you the narration of the Overwhelming?" (Ghashiyah) during the two Eid prayers. If Eid coincided with Friday, he recited both of them.
