✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ—and he pointed with his two fingers to his ears—saying: 'The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear. Between the lawful and the unlawful are doubtful matters which many people do not know whether they are lawful or unlawful. Whoever avoids them clears himself in regard to his religion and his honor. Whoever falls into them is likely to fall into the unlawful. Whoever grazes near a sanctuary is likely to graze in it. Every king has a sanctuary, and Allah's sanctuary is His prohibitions.'
