✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ held (something) in his hand or in my hand, and said: "Glory be to Allah, (it fills) half of the scale. Praise be to Allah, (it fills) the scale. Allah is the greatest, (it fills) what is between the heavens and the earth. Purification is half of faith. Fasting is half of patience."

machine translationAbū Isḥāq al-Sabīʿī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Al-Thawrī, Jarīr b. Ḥāzim, ʿAbdullāh b. al-Mukhtār, Abū al-Aḥwaṣ and Ibn ʿUyaynah narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from Jarī al-Nahdī, from a man of Banū Sulaym, from the Prophet ﷺ. Likewise Yūnus b. Abī Isḥāq and ʿĀṣim b. Abī al-Najūd narrated it from Jarī al-Nahdī, from a man of Banū Sulaym. Ibn Shawdhab narrated it from Abū Isḥāq, from a man of Banū Sulaym, and did not mention Jarī in it. The first is more correct (aṣaḥḥ).
