حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ
ذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَسَكَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يَغْسِلُ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَضَاقَ عَنْهُمَا كُمُّ الْجُبَّةِ فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to relieve himself, then came and I poured water for him. He washed his face, then started to wash his forearms, but the sleeves of the jubbah were too tight, so he took his arms out from under the jubbah and washed them, then wiped over his leather socks.
