حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ آخِذًا بِحُجْزَةِ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَهْلٍ فَقَالَ يَا سُفْيَانُ بْنَ أَبِي سَهْلٍ لَا تُسْبِلْ فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْبِلِينَ
Translation

✧ He said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ holding the waist-wrap of Sufyan b. Abi Sahl and said: "O Sufyan b. Abi Sahl, do not let your garment hang below the ankles, for God does not love those who let their garments hang low."
