حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَالظُّهْرِ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ
Translation

✧ We used to pray the noon prayer with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ at the hottest time of the day. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us: “Delay the prayer until it is cooler, for the intense heat is from the scorching breath of Hell.”
