حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْمُسَيَّبَ بْنَ رَافِعٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ كَاتِبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslīm, he would say: “There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things competent. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and no possessor of fortune can benefit from his fortune against You.”
