حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ
الرَّاكِبُ يَسِيرُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي يَمْشِي خَلْفَهَا وَأَمَامَهَا وَيَمِينَهَا وَشِمَالَهَا قَرِيبًا وَالسِّقْطُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ يُدْعَى لِوَالِدَيْهِ بِالْعَافِيَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ قَالَ يُونُسُ وَأَهْلُ زِيَادٍ يَذْكُرُونَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَلَا أَحْفَظُهُ

✧ The rider moves behind the funeral procession, and the walker walks behind it and in front of it and to its right and its left, close by. The miscarried fetus is prayed over, and well-being and mercy are supplicated for its parents. Yūnus said: “The people of Ziyād attribute it to the Prophet ﷺ, but as for me, I do not retain it.”
