حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الحَمِيدِ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْعُتُلِّ الزَّنِيمِ فَقَالَ: « هُوَ الشَّدِيدُ الْخَلْقِ، الْمُصَحَّحُ، الْأَكُولُ، الشَّرُوبُ، الْوَاجِدُ لِلطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ، الظَّلُومُ لِلنَّاسِ، رَحِيبُ الْجَوْفِ ».

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the harsh and ignoble one (al-ʿutull al-zanīm), and he said: 'He is the one of coarse build, well-fed, gluttonous, heavy drinker, who finds food and drink, oppressive to people, and big-bellied.'
