حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سِنَانِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ ذُؤَيْبًا أَخْبَرَهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَعَثَ مَعَهُ بِبَدَنَتَيْنِ، وَأَمَرَهُ « إِنْ عَرَضَ لَهُمَا شَيْءٌ أَوْ عَطِبَتَا أَنْ يَنْحَرَهُمَا، ثُمَّ يَغْمِسَ نِعَالَهُمَا فِي دِمَائِهِمَا، ثُمَّ يَضْرِبَ بِنَعْلِ كُلِّ وَاحِدَةٍ صَفْحَتَهَا، وَيُخَلِّيهَا لِلنَّاسِ، وَلَا يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا هُوَ وَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ »

✧ The Prophet ﷺ sent two sacrificial camels with him and instructed him, "If anything happens to them or they become injured, slaughter them, then dip their sandals in their blood, then strike the side of each one with its sandal, and leave them for the people. Neither he nor any of his companions should eat from them."
