✧ He was with ʿUmar on a journey, and he asked ʿUmar to show him the Prophet ﷺ when revelation descended upon him. While the Prophet ﷺ was on a journey with a veil screening him from the sun, a man came to him wearing a jubba with a trace of saffron on it and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have entered ihram for an ʿumrah, and people are mocking me. What should I do?" The Prophet ﷺ remained silent and did not answer him. While he was thus, ʿUmar gestured to me with his hand, and I put my head with them inside the veil. There was the Prophet ﷺ with his cheeks red, making a snoring sound for a while, then it was relieved from him and he sat up and said, "Where is the one asking about the ʿumrah?" The man stood before him, and he said, "Remove this jubba of yours, and whatever you would do in your hajj when you enter ihram, do it in your ʿumrah."
