✧ I went on a military expedition with the Prophet ﷺ, the army of hardship, and it is among my most certain deeds in my own estimation. I had a hired worker who fought with a man, and one of them bit the other, and his finger was pulled out, causing his front tooth to fall out. He ﷺ said, "Would he leave his hand in your mouth for you to bite it off?" I think he said, "as the stallion bites."
