حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُشَّانَةَ الْمَعَافِرِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
مَنْ كَانَتْ - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: مَنْ كَانَ - لَهُ ثَلَاثُ بَنَاتٍ فَصَبَرَ عَلَيْهِنَّ، فَأَطْعَمَهُنَّ وَسَقَاهُنَّ وَكَسَاهُنَّ مِنْ جِدَتِهِ كُنَّ لَهُ حِجَابًا مِنَ النَّارِ

✧ Whoever has three daughters and is patient with them, and feeds them, gives them drink, and clothes them from his means, they will be a screen for him from the Fire. On one occasion he said: "Whoever had three daughters..."
