حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بُدَيْلُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ رَاشِدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَامِرٍ الْهَوْزَنِيِّ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيْعَةً فَإِلَيَّ، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَارِثِهِ، وَأَنَا مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ، أَرِثُ مَالَهُ وَأَفُكُّ عَانَهُ، وَالْخَالُ مَوْلَى مَنْ لَا مَوْلَى لَهُ، يَرِثُ مَالَهُ وَيَفُكُّ عَانَهُ.

✧ Whoever leaves a debt or dependents, they are my responsibility. Whoever leaves wealth, it belongs to his heirs. I am the guardian of the one who has no guardian; I inherit his wealth and free his captives. The maternal uncle is the guardian of the one who has no guardian; he inherits his wealth and frees his captives.
