حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْجُودِيِّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ أَضَافَ قَوْمًا فَأَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ مَحْرُومًا، فَإِنَّ حَقًّا عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ نَصْرُهُ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ بِقِرَى لَيْلَتِهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَمَالِهِ.

✧ Any Muslim who hosts a people, but the guest wakes up deprived [of hospitality], then it is a right upon every Muslim to aid him until he receives the hospitality of his night from his [the host's] crops and wealth.
