حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ
لَيْلَةُ الضَّيْفِ وَاجِبَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ، فَإِنْ أَصْبَحَ بِفِنَائِهِ مَحْرُومًا كَانَ دَيْنًا عَلَيْهِ، إِنْ شَاءَ اقْتَضَاهُ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهُ.
Translation

✧ The night of the guest is an obligation upon every Muslim. If he wakes up in the morning at his doorstep deprived [of hospitality], it is a debt owed to him. If he wishes, he may collect it, and if he wishes, he may leave it.
