حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنِ الْحَنْظَلِيِّ عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ

مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَأْوِي إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ فَيَقْرَأُ سُورَةً مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، إِلَّا بَعَثَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ مَلَكًا يَحْفَظُهُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيهِ، حَتَّى يَهُبَّ مَتَى هَبَّ

✧ There is no man who retires to his bed and recites a surah from the Book of God, Mighty and Majestic, but God, Mighty and Majestic, sends to him an angel to protect him from everything that harms him, until he rises whenever he rises.
