حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ - قَالَ يَزِيدُ: وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ - وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللهِ تَعَالَى، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا
Translation

✧ The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death of anyone — Yazid said: nor for his life — but they are two signs among the signs of Allah, the Exalted. So when you see them, pray.
