حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَكُنْتُ أُحَدِّثُ
كُنْتُ أُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ حَدِيثًا، فَلَقِيتُهُ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَحَدَّثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: مَنْ قَرَأَ الْآيَتَيْنِ الْآخِرَتَيْنِ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ

✧ I used to narrate a hadith from Abu Masud, then I met him while he was circumambulating the House, so I asked him, and he narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: Whoever recites the last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah in a night, they will suffice him.
