Translation

✧ I heard Mu'awiyah delivering a sermon on this pulpit, saying: You should know that there is no one to withhold what He gives, and no one to give what Allah withholds, and no one's effort benefits him against Him. Whoever Allah intends good for, He gives him understanding in religion. I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on these planks.
