✧ You will make peace with the Byzantines with a secure treaty, and you and they will fight an enemy behind them. You will be safe and gain spoils. Then you will camp at a meadow with hills. A man from among the Byzantines will stand and raise the cross and say: Lo, the cross has prevailed. Then a man from among the Muslims will go to him and kill him. At that point the Byzantines will betray, and the great battles will occur. They will gather against you and come to you in eighty banners, with each banner ten thousand.
