✧ Abdullah bin Maghfal al-Mazni on the Prophet PBUH

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا لَهُمْ وَلَهَا، فَرَخَّصَ فِي كَلْبِ الصَّيْدِ، وَفِي كَلْبِ الْغَنَمِ، قَالَ: وَإِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ فَاغْسِلُوهُ سَبْعَ مِرَارٍ، وَالثَّامِنَةَ عَفِّرُوهُ بِالتُّرَابِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the killing of dogs. Then he said: What do they have to do with them? So he gave a concession for hunting dogs and sheepdogs. He said: And if a dog laps from a vessel, wash it seven times, and on the eighth rub it with dust.
