حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ بَابِيهِ يُخْبِرُ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ

خَبَرُ عَطَاءٍ هَذَا. يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ، يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ مَنَافٍ، إِنْ كَانَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ فَلَأَعْرِفَنَّ مَا مَنَعْتُمْ أَحَدًا يُصَلِّي عِنْدَ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ أَيَّ سَاعَةٍ شَاءَ مِنْ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ بَكْرٍ: أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِهَذَا الْبَيْتِ.

✧ This is the report of Ata. O Banu Abd al-Muttalib, O Banu Abd Manaf, if you have any authority, I shall surely recognize if you prevent anyone from praying at this House at any hour he wishes of night or day. And Ibn Bakr said: from circumambulating this House.
