قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الطَّوِيلُ وَكَانَ ثِقَةً رَجُلًا صَالِحًا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي الدَّرَاوَرْدِيَّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَوْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ
كَانَتْ لِي جُمَّةٌ كُنْتُ إِذَا سَجَدْتُ رَفَعْتُهَا، فَرَآنِي أَبُو حَسَنٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ، فَقَالَ: تَرْفَعُهَا لَا يُصِيبُهَا التُّرَابُ ! وَاللهِ لَأَحْلِقَنَّهَا. فَحَلَقَهَا
