✧ While a man was praying with his lower garment trailing, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: "Go and perform ablution." He went and performed ablution, then returned. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ again said to him: "Go and perform ablution." He went and performed ablution, then returned. A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, why did you order him to perform ablution and then remain silent?" He replied: "He was praying with his lower garment trailing, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, does not accept the prayer of a servant who lets his lower garment trail."
