✧ Those who heard the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ
وَأَمَرَ بِرَجْمِ رَجُلٍ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ، فَلَمَّا وَجَدَ مَسَّ الْحِجَارَةِ خَرَجَ فَهَرَبَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: فَهَلَّا تَرَكْتُمُوهُ
Translation

✧ He ordered the stoning of a man between Makkah and Madinah. When he felt the touch of the stones, he fled, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Why did you not leave him?"
