حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِرَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ بُسْرُ بْنُ رَاعِي الْعِيرِ أَبْصَرَهُ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ، فَقَالَ: كُلْ بِيَمِينِكَ" فَقَالَ: لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ. فَقَالَ: "لَا اسْتَطَعْتَ". قَالَ: فَمَا وَصَلَتْ يَمِينُهُ إِلَى فَمِهِ بَعْدُ

Translation

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say to a man called Busr b. Ra'i al-'Ir, whom he saw eating with his left hand: 'Eat with your right hand.' The man said: 'I cannot.' He said: 'May you never be able.' He said: 'His right hand never reached his mouth after that.'
