حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَ شِعَارُنَا لَيْلَةَ بَيَّتْنَا فِيهَا هَوَازِنَ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ أَمَّرَهُ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمِتْ أَمِتْ، وَقَتَّلْتُ بِيَدِي لَيْلَتَئِذٍ سَبْعَةً أَهْلَ أَبْيَاتٍ
