✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in Makkah, he and Zayd b. Harithah, when Zayd b. Amr b. Nufayl passed by them, and they invited him to a meal of theirs. He said, “O son of my brother, I do not eat from what is slaughtered on the stone altars.” He said: After that, the Prophet ﷺ was never seen eating anything from what is slaughtered on the stone altars. He said: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my father was as you saw and as you have heard, and had he lived to see you, he would have believed in you and followed you, so ask forgiveness for him.” He said, “Yes, I will ask forgiveness for him, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as a nation alone.”
