✧ We were sitting in the courtyards, and the Messenger of God ﷺ passed by us and said: 'What is it with you and the gatherings on the slopes? Avoid the gatherings on the slopes.' We said: O Messenger of God, we sat for no harm; we remind each other and talk. He said: 'Then give the gatherings their due.' We said: What is their due? He said: 'Lowering the gaze, returning the greeting, and good speech.'
