حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ طَلْقٍ

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا، فَلَمَّا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، طَارَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ ثَوْبَيْهِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِمَا

Translation

✧ His father witnessed the Messenger of God ﷺ, and a man asked him about praying in a single garment, but he did not say anything to him. When the prayer was about to begin, the Messenger of God ﷺ wrapped himself between his two garments and prayed in them.
