✧ It is not lawful for a Muslim to abandon a Muslim for more than three nights, for they are both deviating from the truth as long as they remain in their state of estrangement. The first of them to return to reconciliation, his preceding in returning will be an expiation for him. If he greets him and he does not accept, and he returns his greeting, the angels return his greeting and Satan returns the greeting of the other. If they both die while estranged, they will never enter Paradise together.
