  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationHishām narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Zamʿah b. Ṣāliḥ and Abū Uways narrated it from Hishām, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah. Likewise ʿUthmān b. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Thaqafī narrated it from his father, from al-Thawrī, from Hishām, from ʿĀʾishah. All of these are errors (wahm), and the correct version is from Hishām, from his father, from ʿAbdullāh b. Zamʿah, from the Prophet ﷺ.
