✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was at Jamʿ. I said: O Messenger of God, I have come to you from the two mountains of Ṭayyiʾ. I have exhausted myself and worn out my mount. By God, I have not left any hill but I have stood upon it. Is there any Hajj for me? He said: “Whoever witnesses this prayer with us—meaning the dawn prayer—at Jamʿ, and stands with us until he departs from it, having already departed from ʿArafāt, by night or day, his Hajj is complete, and his ritual state is fulfilled.”
