حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ عُدُسٍ عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ عَمِّهِ قَالَ
قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ يُحْيِي اللهُ الْمَوْتَى ؟ فَقَالَ: أَمَا مَرَرْتَ بِالْوَادِي مُمْحِلًا، ثُمَّ تَمُرُّ بِهِ خَضِرًا ؟ " قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: قَالَهُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مَرَّتَيْنِ، كَذَلِكَ يُحْيِي اللهُ الْمَوْتَى

✧ I said: O Messenger of God, how does God bring the dead to life? He said: “Have you not passed through the valley barren, then you pass through it green?” Shu'bah said: He said it more than twice: thus does God bring the dead to life.
