حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْسٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى مَاءٍ مِنْ مِيَاهِ الْعَرَبِ، فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى نَعْلَيْهِ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَزِيدُكَ عَلَى مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ
Translation

✧ I was with my father at a watering place among the watering places of the Arabs, and he performed ablution and wiped over his sandals. Someone questioned him, and he said: I do not add for you anything beyond what I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ do.
