حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ
مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، فَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا

✧ Whoever washes and performs ghusl on Friday, and comes early and hastens, and walks and does not ride, then draws near to the imam and listens and does not engage in idle talk, will have for every step the reward of a year's deeds: the reward of its fasting and its standing in prayer.
