✧ My father, Seriha Al Ghaffari, Hudhaifa bin Asid

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ فُرَاتٍ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ أَبِي سَرِيحَةَ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غُرْفَةٍ وَنَحْنُ تَحْتَهَا نَتَحَدَّثُ. قَالَ: فَأَشْرَفَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: " مَا تَذْكُرُونَ ؟ " قَالُوا: السَّاعَةَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَنْ تَقُومَ حَتَّى تَرَوْنَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ: خَسْفٌ بِالْمَشْرِقِ، وَخَسْفٌ بِالْمَغْرِبِ، وَخَسْفٌ فِي جَزِيرَةِ الْعَرَبِ، وَالدُّخَانُ، وَالدَّجَّالُ، وَالدَّابَّةُ، وَطُلُوعُ الشَّمْسِ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا وَيَأْجُوجُ وَمَأْجُوجُ، وَنَارٌ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ قَعْرِ عَدَنَ تُرَحِّلُ النَّاسَ ". فَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ: سَمِعْتُهُ وَأَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ: " تَنْزِلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ نَزَلُوا، وَتَقِيلُ مَعَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالُوا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in an upper room while we were below it talking. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked down upon us and said: "What are you mentioning?" They said: The Hour. He said: "The Hour will not come until you see ten signs: a sinking in the east, a sinking in the west, a sinking in the Arabian Peninsula, the smoke, the Dajjal, the Beast, the rising of the sun from its west, Ya'juj and Ma'juj, and a fire that comes out from the bottom of 'Adan that drives the people." Shu'bah said: I heard it, and I think he said: "It descends with them wherever they descend, and rests with them wherever they rest."

    machine translationNone raised it to the Prophet (marfūʿ) except Furāt, from Abū al-Ṭufayl, through a sound route. He said: and ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Rufayʿ and ʿAbd al-Malik b. Maysarah narrated it as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf).
