✧ I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the market of Thul Majaz saying, "O people, say: There is no god but Allah, and you will succeed." He entered a narrow lane and people crowded around him. I did not see anyone speaking while he remained silent, repeating: "O people, say: There is no god but Allah, and you will succeed." Except for a man with a bright face and two deep dimples, who said, "This is a lying sorcerer!" So I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "Muhammad, son of Abdullah, reminding people about prophethood." I asked, "Who is the one he is being accused by?" They said, "His uncle, Abu Lahab." I said, "You were young back then." He replied, "No, by Allah, I was not young. I was very intelligent at that time."
