حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَضْرِبُ بِإِحْدَى يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْأُخْرَى، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا، ثُمَّ نَقَصَ إِصْبُعَهُ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, striking one of his hands against the other, saying: The month is like this and like this. Then he bent his finger the third time.
