✧ A man said: “O Messenger of God, is there an end to Islam?” He said: “Whenever any household,” and he said in another place: he said: “Yes, whenever any household of the Arabs or the non-Arabs for whom God intends good, He brings Islam upon them.” He said: “Then what?” He said: “Then trials will occur like dark shadows (al-ẓulal).” He said: “No, by God, if God wills.” He said: “Yes, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, then you will return to them as black serpents, striking one another's necks.”
